Tracy Ellerton
Tracy has been working in the music industry for over 20 years. Her work often reflects both the inspiration and the despair that the industry demands.
She has had work endorsed and autographed by Siouxsie Sioux and Budgie, Ralf Hutter (Kraftwerk), The Asian Dub Foundation. Billy Bragg has purchased her work, recording studios in Melbourne have her analogue synthesizer paintings adorning their walls and several city bars have also purchased her work. Families, bar owners, football fans, work organizations and friends alike, have commissioned Tracy's golliwog portraits.
"Ellerton's work is diverse to say the least, from a concept exhibition of album covers and golliwog portraits, to Pollock-esque hurricanes and bold modern primitive work which immediately recalls the savvy street art of Warhol cohort Jean Michel Basquiat" - Andrew Tijs
